Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce

The Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce was established in May of 1953 to serve the business community through periods of growth and change. The chamber is a not-for-profit membership organization of approximately 200 businesses, organizations and individuals.

We are a business advocacy organization that works to promote a better business climate through education, information, consultation and networking. The chamber promotes activities throughout the year that help make Waseca a great place to live and work. A multi-state Marching Band Festival with parade and field show competition, fireworks on July 4th, A Lakefest Summer Celebration, Christmas In Our City with Santa, and a host of other events coordinated by a variety of groups and organizations that include the arts, history and sports.

The chamber members develop a Program of Work to identify the issues and priorities that are important to them. Leadership is provided by the volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership.

Again in 2010 Hy-Vee and the Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce will again be giving away a 42” flat-screen Plasma TV. The drawing will be held at the Tuesday, November
9th, 2010 Business After Hours. You must be a Chamber member to qualify. You
need to attend BAH to qualify for the November drawing. The more you attend the more
chances you have to win. If you are able to attend every 2010 BAH you will be awarded
bonus points.
