DESCRIPTION:The Waseca Marching Classic Celebration is an annual event.  High School Marching Bands from around the region (Minnesota\, Iowa\, South Dakota) display their  musical talents in parade and field show competition. Six professional judges from the TriState Judging Association critique their performances in six categories:\n\nMarching Execution\, Percussion\, Visual General Effect\, Music Execution\, Guard\, and Music General Effect.\n\n\n\nThroughout the day a one hour educational clinic led by two judges with suggestions as to how to improve their performance.is offered to each of the participating bands.

LOCATION:A 75-100 unit parade steps off at 12:00 noon in Downtown Waseca. Awards Ceremony following the parade at the Trowbridge Park Bandstand (North State Street next the the Public Library parking lot) The Field Show Competition at 5:30pm at the Waseca Jr.-Sr. High School Stadium. Gates open at 3:30pm. Awards approximately at 9:00pm. Grand Finale\, fireworks following awards.
