DESCRIPTION:WELCOME TO THE WASECA ROTARY CLUB\n\nOur club held it's first regular meeting on February 9th\, 1961 at the Pheasant Cafe in Waseca. The Waseca Rotary Club's Charter Night was held at the Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca on April 13\, 1961.\n\nOver the last fifty years we've been bringing together the community of Waseca and the ideals of Rotary International in a thriving and growing club.\n\nWe have active members who not only contribute their dues to the Stoltenberg Scholarship and Rotary Foundation\, but also volunteer as STRIVE advisors\, Host Families for International Youth Exchange Students\, and Organizers of Community Events.\n\nOur four avenues of service allow the Waseca Rotary Club to be involved in many activities and initiatives. The following are activites the club has been involved in over the years:\n\nLocally: \n\n\n Stoltenberg Scholarship\n STRIVE Program & Scholarship\n New Teacher Luncheon\n Service Above Self Award\n\n\nInternationally:\n\n\n GSE Teams\n Student Exchange\n PolioPlus\n Rotary Foundation\n Paul Harris Society
