36th annual Waseca Marching Classic
Celebrating 36 Years, the annual Waseca Marching Classic is on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
The parade steps off at 12:00 pm in downtown Waseca and includes Competing High School Marching Bands, the Classic Car Cruise, Dignitaries, Royalty & MORE! As hosts, the Marching Jays perform in exhibition for both parade and field.
Awards Ceremony after the parade is at the Trowbridge Park Bandstand (North State next to the Public Library parking lot)The Celebration continues at 5:30 p.m. at the Waseca Jr.– Sr. High School Stadium with Introductions & announcements before the Field Show Competition begins. Gates open at 3:30 p.m.Awards Presentation is at approximately 9:00 pm.Field Show admission wristbands may be purchased in advance from many Waseca businesses beginning the week of Labor Day.
Grand Finale is a fireworks display, a favorite of the band students.
