    Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce Administrative Assistant

    Position Summary:
    The Administrative Assistant at the Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce serving the Waseca County Area provides vital support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors, ensuring smooth daily operations of the Chamber office. This position requires a detail-oriented
    individual with excellent communication skills, organization skills, customer service as well as the ability to multitask efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Front Office & Visitor Services:

    Greet walk-in visitors, answer phones, and respond to public and member email inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
    Maintain office supplies and ensure the reception area is clean and welcoming.

    Membership & Database Support: 
    Utilize Microsoft Office Application, QuickBooks Online, ChamberMaster, Canva and others.
    Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
    Assist with generating membership dues invoices and processing payments.
    Create and distribute onboarding packets and window clings for new members.

    Event Coordination:
    Assist with on-site and virtual event logistics, including registrations, setup, and teardown.
    Assist with committee needs.

    Communications & Marketing:
    Assist with updating the Chamber’s website and social media platforms.
    Help format and send out the organization's e-newsletter.

    Administrative Assistance:
    Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and various committees.
    Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.

    Requirements and Qualifications:
    Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    Experience: 1-3 years of relevant administrative or customer service experience.
    Skills: Proven organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Proficient in using Microsoft Office software, QuickBooks Online and familiarity with social media platforms.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.

    Part Time Hours: 20 per week (may vary due to events)
    Pay: $20 p/hr
