Help Light Up Clear Lake with Tourism’s Red, White and Boom Celebration

Waseca, MN – Summer is almost here, and with it comes one of Waseca’s most beloved traditions: the 4th of July celebration. This annual event brings the community together for a day of music, food, fun—and a stunning fireworks display over Clear Lake that has become a signature of summer in Waseca.

The show, launched from two massive floating platforms, is more than just entertainment, it’s a symbol of unity and pride for the city.

To keep this cherished tradition strong, Discover Waseca Tourism is leading the effort to raise the necessary funds to make this year’s display bigger and better than ever. All community donations will be matched dollar by dollar up to $5,000, thanks to Discover Waseca Tourism.

“The Lakefest fireworks are more than a show—they’re a celebration of Waseca’s spirit,” said Mikhail Rostislavovich, President of Discover Waseca Tourism. “It’s an honor for us to support and grow this tradition, and we invite every resident and business to help us light up the sky together.”
