Waseca Chamber Ambassadors Celebrate 50 Years of 4 Seasons Athletics in Waseca, MN
The Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors celebrated 50 years of business for 4 Seasons Athletics on April 1st, recognizing the company’s long-standing commitment to the Waseca community.
4 Seasons Athletics was founded in April 1976 by Tom and Cindy Piche, who opened the store with a vision of providing high-quality sporting goods at affordable prices for local athletes and families. From the very beginning, they made community involvement a priority, supporting local schools, teams, businesses, and organizations. Early on, they also recognized a need for custom apparel and expanded the business to include screen printing and custom clothing, which quickly became a major part of their services.

Over the next 37 years, the business grew into a well-known local store offering sporting equipment, team uniforms, school apparel, custom screen printing and embroidery, letter jackets, and team gear. The store built long-standing relationships with area vendors and became known for supplying local school teams and community organizations. Through word-of-mouth, local advertising, and sponsorships of local sports and events, the business became a staple in downtown Waseca’s small business community.

In August 2013, after 37 years in business, Tom and Cindy Piche sold 4 Seasons Athletics to lifelong Waseca residents Jeremiah and Jaala Miller. The Millers continued the tradition of serving local schools, youth sports, and community organizations while modernizing the business by updating the website, expanding social media, and growing digital ordering and custom apparel services.

Today, 4 Seasons Athletics is owned and operated by Heather and Travis Blake, who purchased the business on April 1, 2025. The business continues to operate as a sporting goods store, custom apparel and embroidery shop, and screen printing and promotional products provider. They produce a wide variety of custom items including hats, shirts, jackets, team uniforms, business apparel, and tackle twill and embroidery products. The business also retails Waseca-themed apparel and team gear, continuing its long tradition of serving schools, teams, businesses, clubs, and organizations throughout the area.
