Waseca Chamber Ambassadors Present Roots Award to the Waseca Community Arena
Celebrating 30+ Years of Service, Tradition, and Community Impact

WASECA, MN — The Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Ambassadors are proud to announce that the Waseca Community Arena has been honored with the Roots Award. This award recognizes long-standing chamber businesses and organizations that have served the community for 30 years or more, demonstrating commitment, stability, and continued service.

Built in 1994, the Waseca Community Arena has been a cornerstone of local athletics and recreation for over three decades. The Arena is home to the Waseca Hockey Association and maintains ice from October through March, supporting youth hockey, adult open hockey, and public open skating. Conveniently located just south of the Waseca Jr./Sr. High School, it also serves as the home rink for the Waseca Bluejay boys and girls high school hockey teams, as well as a wide variety of school and community events.

“The Waseca Community Arena has been an integral part of our community for many years,” said Robin Dulas, Executive Director of the Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce. “Its commitment to providing a place for families, athletes, and residents to gather, grow, and stay active truly embodies the spirit of the Roots Award. The Arena continues to positively impact generations in Waseca.”

Chamber Ambassador Chair Katie Gonzales added, “We are thrilled to recognize the Waseca Community Arena for its longstanding contributions to our community. Their dedication to youth sports, community programming, and supporting local traditions makes them incredibly deserving of this honor.”
The Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates the Waseca Community Arena on receiving the Roots Award and thanks them for their continued commitment to enriching the Waseca community.
